Probably one of the toughest things about wedding planning is finding the perfect venue to fit your dream vision. Not to far away from the city, good mountain views, indoor and outdoor options… you’ve got a lot to consider. I’ve photographed so many different wedding venues here in CO, so I’m rounding up all of my favorite venues I’ve photographed at to help you narrow down your dream location.
Thinking about getting married at any of these spots and need a wedding photographer? Inquire with me and we can get to planning!
Blackstone Rivers Ranch
Idaho Springs, Colorado
One of my favorites in Colorado – and for good reason! Blackstone Rivers Ranch is the perfect Colorado wedding venue as it has a little bit of everything. The venue sits along a beautiful river right outside of Idaho Springs. It’s a short drive from Denver for your guests that are flying in from out of state, but still sits in the mountains so that you can get the full Colorado experience. The river is absolutely stunning and is the main ceremony and reception backdrop. Not to mention, the venue comes with the most beautiful white tent and has a bride and grooms suite in the main building as well as areas for your guests to refresh.
Arrowhead Golf Course
Littleton, Colorado
Arrowhead Golf Course is just south of Denver and has some of my favorite views in all of Denver! The venue overlooks the most stunning red rocks and has one of the best ceremony mountainous backdrops in all of Colorado. After the ceremony, your guests make their way over to a beautiful white tent to party the night away under the Colorado stars and enjoy the views. This venue has it all!
Garden of The Gods Resort
Colorado Springs, Colorado
I’m a little biased, but Garden of the Gods Resort is hands down one of the best venues to get married in Colorado. It’s only a few minutes down the road from where I live in Colorado Springs, and the views of Garden of the Gods are to die for. The resort has insane backdrops of the rocks and of Pikes Peak for both the ceremony AND reception. Guests are absolutely blown away by this venue and it’s views, but also the fact that it’s incredibly centrally located and has everything guests need, whether they are traveling near or far.
One of my favorite parts about Garden of the Gods Resort is it’s ability to host both indoors and outdoors, which is so important especially with the unpredictable Colorado weather! Guests are seated at the most beautiful outdoor ceremony location and escorted to a covered outdoor patio overlooking Garden of the Gods for dinner, followed by an indoor reception inside the resort. A unique experience while soaking up all of the views that Colorado has to offer!
The Broadmoor Resort
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Located on the southwest side of Colorado Springs, The Broadmoor offers some of the best views of the Cheyenne Mountain area. The Broadmoor is a personal favorite of mine as both a guest and a photographer, and The Resort is known to always deliver a 5 star experience.
One of the best parts about The Broadmoor wedding venue is the versatility. The resort offers multiple different locations on site for ceremony and reception – and looks beautiful in both the summer and winter!
Bonnie Blues Event Venue
Elizabeth, Colorado
Looking for a western themed venue on the outskirts of Denver? Bonnie Blues Wedding Venue is located on the East side of Denver and provides a modern western atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor options for both ceremony and reception.
I love that Bonnie Blues has it all – a stunning indoor reception area, two ceremony locations including a stunning greenhouse, and separate bridal and grooms suite that’s both stylish and large enough for large wedding parties!
The Manor House
Littleton, CO
Historic charm meets mountain views, and not too far from the city. Right outside of downtown Denver is the most incredible venue in the area – The Manor House! The Manor House is a historic home turned wedding venue that is over 100 years old and is the perfect space for a wedding. The ceremony location outside features both views of the front range as well as views of Downtown Denver, and the venue has the most beautiful ballroom for your guests to dance the night away after.
