A Snowy Wedding at The Pinery at The Hill

Weddings

Natalie & Blayne – where do I start with these two? I was so lucky to photograph so many core memories for these two – starting with their proposal at Quail Lake in Colorado Springs, followed by their sunrise first look at Garden of the Gods one month before their wedding day, and finally, their jaw-dropping wedding day at The Pinery at The Hill.

Let’s start from the beginning – what started as a full day at some of the most meaningful spots for them in Colorado Springs, ended with Blayne proposing at Quail Lake last November. It was cold and windy, a theme just about every time I photograph these two, but they always manage to bring their own warmth.

Months later, we meet up at Garden of the Gods at Sunrise for their first look. It was probably about 15 degrees and I’m pretty sure Natalie’s skin was almost purple, but both of these two were so joyful, you’d have no idea they were freezing. Their first look was followed by breakfast at Kinship Landing’s Homa Cafe, which they were so kind to ask me to photograph too!

And finally, the day we waited for for so long. Their wedding day was one of the most joyful and it was so obvious that they are so loved and adored by everyone around them. Thankful for wonderful humans like these two that allow me to tell their story.
