Anna & Alec had the most stunning June wedding day at Rist Canyon Inn wedding venue right outside of Fort Collins, Colorado – so much so that the wedding day was featured in Rocky Mountain Bride!
Rist Canyon Inn is one of my new favorite wedding venues in Colorado, and RMB described it so beautifully on the blog. “Located just north of Fort Collins, Colorado, Rist Canyon Inn is a 120 year-old farmhouse set among old growth trees, lush golden pastures, and a glistening creek. The venue is picture-perfect with all of the natural backdrops for your wedding portraits, and it also has multiple venue spaces full of character and charm for all of your dining, dancing, and dream-wedding vibes. The venue started out as the owners’ family home – but they felt that the history and natural beauty of the property should be shared. Bellvue Event Hall on-site was designed around vintage glass doors, antiques and original art found around the country, and of course, the Rocky Mountains themselves. Keep reading to find out why we love this historic venue for Rocky Mountain weddings, and see just how gorgeous it is from these photos of a real wedding we loved!”
There are so many amazing features to this Colorado wedding venue, but maybe one of the best of all are the horses on the property. The owner of the property left out carrots for us to feed to the horses, and it was a hit with everyone!
Needless to say, I’m a big fan of weddings at intimate and historic inns.
